UU., llega a la Argentina como una herramienta clave para detectar el <strong>c\u00e1ncer colorrectal<\/strong> antes de que avance.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>El c\u00e1ncer de colon ya no es solo una enfermedad de adultos mayores: avanza entre j\u00f3venes y se ubica como la <strong>segunda causa de muerte por c\u00e1ncer en la Argentina<\/strong>. En este contexto, el centro de gastroenterolog\u00eda <strong>Gedyt<\/strong> present\u00f3 el <strong>Q-FIT<\/strong> (Prueba Cuantitativa Inmunoqu\u00edmica Fecal), un estudio r\u00e1pido, econ\u00f3mico y no invasivo que permite identificar <strong>sangre oculta en materia fecal<\/strong>, uno de los primeros signos de la enfermedad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El test se realiza en casa: el paciente recoge una peque\u00f1a muestra en un tubito y la env\u00eda al laboratorio. Si el resultado es negativo, se repite al a\u00f1o; si es positivo, se indica una <strong>colonoscopia prioritaria<\/strong> para investigar el origen del sangrado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el presidente de la fundaci\u00f3n Gedyt, <strong>Luis Caro<\/strong>, el Q-FIT no reemplaza la colonoscopia, pero funciona como un <strong>primer filtro preventivo<\/strong> que facilita la detecci\u00f3n temprana y optimiza recursos m\u00e9dicos.
